Who are we?

Hessle Sinfonia is a thriving amateur orchestra attracting players from Kingston upon Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. We give three public concerts each year in the auditorium of Longcroft School and Performing Arts College, Beverley.

Our next concert is on Saturday 23th March 2019 with our Musical Director, Sandy Clark as conductor. We will be playing Tchaikovsky’s Fantasy Overture “Romeo and Juliet” and the ballet suite “Swan Lake”, Borodin’s Symphony no. 3 in A minor and Prokofiev’s “Classical Symphony” in D Major.

The concert starts at 7:30 pm and tickets are available on the door.

Our aim is to provide good classical music in a relatively informal setting.

Please look at our concert calendar, we hope you find the music we play attractive and will come to our concerts.

The Sinfonia gratefully acknowledges the financial assistance of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
