Hessle Sinfonia

Registered Charity 1096810

Hessle Sinfonia is a thriving amateur orchestra attracting players from Kingston upon Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. We give three public concerts each year in the auditorium of Longcroft School and Performing Arts College, Beverley.

Our next concert is on Saturday July 7th 2018 when our Musical Director, Sandy Clark returns as conductor. Our programme takes us on a journey starting in a barbershop in Seville, to the Steppes of Central Asia, to a dance in Hungary before a symphonic ending in Italy. Our musical guides on this journey are Rossini, Borodin, Brahms and Mendelssohn.

The concert starts at 7:30 pm and tickets are available on the door.

Our aim is to provide good classical music in a relatively informal setting.

Please look at our concert calendar, we hope you find the music we play attractive and will come to our concerts.

The Sinfonia gratefully acknowledges the financial assistance of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
